Silt Fencing
Project Details
This August has seen a real increase in silt fencing installations across Cheshire. In particular we’ve been working closely with a housing development company in Poulton Le Fylde, near Blackpool. Often seen on development and construction sites, the specialised fence fabric is used an entrenched interceptor to control pollution caused by silt laden construction site storm water run-off. Often used as a temporary measure to filter sediment and retain soil on disturbed land, the fence prevents local streams, ponds etc from contamination therefore protecting the nearby environment. If this fencing isn’t installed correctly and skilfully it will prevent the fence from working efficiently, a common problem in the world of silt fencing. Here at Stockdale Fencing we have over ten years of experience of silt fencing installations. Our staff are highly skilled in the use of this product, alongside the use of top-quality materials and machinery we ensure there is no room for error. Please get in touch if we can help assist you in the installation of silt fencing across Cheshire and the North-West, whether it be construction or development sites, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
